The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation presents the annual SOTX Summer Games, September 19th through the 22nd. 

Update in regards to the Coronavirus and the impact to Special Olympics Texas: 
Special Olympics Texas will closely monitor the situation in regards to holding this event. Special Olympics International consults with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and reviews the latest guidance from the World Health Organization.  Your health and safety are top priority, as well as the health and safety of the Special Olympics Texas community.  Please refer to this page of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention website for all tips. For any in-person event, including this statewide game, athletes and volunteers must complete our return-to-play training.

Special Olympics Texas’ (SOTX) Annual Summer Games will, once again, be held in San Antonio (Inclusion City USA) and hosted by Morgan’s Wonderland and held at area venues. All events are free and open to the public. The four-day event is SOTX’s largest competition of the year.


Saturday, September 18th: Team Check In (3:00pm-6:30pm) and Coach Meeting (7:00pm-8:30pm)

Sunday, September 19th: Competition begins in Athletics, Cycling, Soccer and Tennis.

Opening Ceremony, Dinner and Dance at Toyota Field and Morgan's Wonderland Sports

Monday, September 20th: Competition in Athletics, Cycling, Soccer and Tennis.

Victory Celebration at Morgan's Wonderland

Tuesday, September 21st: Competition in Athletics and Soccer (If necessary)

Wednesday, September 22nd: Competition in Track (If necessary)
