Update in regards to the Coronavirus and the impact to Special Olympics Texas: At this time, we plan on hosting all area and state competitions, including the 2020 Special Olympics Texas Summer Games.  We will continue to monitor the situation and update you regarding our events. Your health and safety are top priority, as well as the health and safety of the Special Olympics Texas community.  Please refer to this page of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention website for all tips. If you do not feel well or if you have been in contact with others who do not feel well, please stay at home and do not attend a Special Olympics Texas event.  Wash your hands often, use hand sanitizer, avoid high-fives, avoid handshakes, and avoid contact with your face. Our full statement can be found here.

Special Olympics Texas’ (SOTX) 51st Annual Summer Games will, once again, be held in San Antonio (Inclusion City USA) and hosted by Morgan’s Wonderland and held at area venues. All events are free and open to the public. The four-day event is SOTX’s largest competition of the year, featuring close to 3,000 athletes from all around the state of Texas.
