The 2023 UIL State Unified Interscholastic Track Meet will be held at McMurry University in Abilene, TX. Special Olympics Texas and the UIL are excited to invite you to the Unified event of the Spring. Sixteen Unified teams will compete for the UIL State Unified Interscholastic title at the highest level of Unified competition. Teams will be traveling from all corners of the state of Texas to see who will bring home the title.

This event will be live streamed throughout the entire state of Texas on the McMurry University website starting at 8:30 in the morning. Those unable to attend the event in person will be able to view the competition online using the following link: https://mcmurrysports.com/sports/2019/8/28/video
Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools® is an opportunity for schools pre-K through university level to intentionally promote meaningful social inclusion. This is accomplished by bringing together students with and without intellectual disabilities to create accepting school environments, utilizing three interconnected components: Special Olympics Unified Sports®, inclusive youth leadership, and whole school engagement.
