Over the Edge Fundraiser Returns to Dallas & Houston

Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) is bringing Over the Edge back and ready to welcome another amazing, life-changing opportunity to help SOTX make dreams come true.  The next Over the Edge fundraiser has been set for November 1 - 2, 2019 (Dallas), November 15-16, 2019 (Houston) or sign up for the Dual City Challenge and rappel them both - REGISTER today at www.sotx.org/over-the-edge.
 
Once this thrilling event begins, participants can unleash their true skills for over 59,000 Special Olympics Texas athletes!  Thanks to the heroic efforts of our participants in the past 9 years, well over one million dollars have been raised to support our athletes. For the November 2nd Over the Edge in Dallas, SOTX will be joined by Dallas County Sheriff Marian Brown.  Sheriff Brown began her career in law enforcement in 1988 with the Duncanville police department.  She was the first African-American female hired by the Duncanville Police Department. 
 
If you are interested in participating, get registered and then get ready to go over the edge and rappel down The Union Dallas, Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston Downtown or both to a crowd of cheering friends, family and athletes, making an impact on the lives of some amazing people with intellectual disabilities.
