Made to Matter Fundraiser to Benefit Special Olympics Texas

Featuring Michele McCool, Mark Calaway, Jamaal Charles and Jana Perry Henry


GEORGETOWN, TX– Special Olympics Texas, while teaming up with major celebrity guests from the WWE, NFL and more, will present the Made to Matter fundraiser this Sunday in Georgetown, TX.  Through heartfelt presentations from key players in the world of athletics and media, this upcoming fundraiser is expected to generate a positive impact on Special Olympic Texas athletes, while also celebrating the Special Olympics Texas 50-year anniversary.  

WWE superstars will share hosting duties.  Mark Calaway (AKA “The Undertaker”), WWE professional wrestler and actor, will join the evening as one of the hosts.  Michele McCool, Two-time WWE Women’s Champion, two-time WWE Divas Champion and retired professional wrestler, will also be there as a celebrity host. 

In additional to WWE stars, co-host for the evening is Jana Perry Henry, former baseball employee & wife of Mark Henry. Mark Henry, Olympian, World’s Strongest man & retired WWE professional wrestler is heavily involved & a huge supporter of the Special Olympics.  Jamaal Charles, renowned running back who played college football for UT and was with the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL, will also share hosting duties for the star-studded evening.  

The Made to Matter event will take place at The Milestone, 5229 TX-29 Georgetown, TX from 5 to 8pm this coming Sunday (April 14th).
