Special Olympics Texas Receives $15,000 Grant from Bell Helicopter

Funds will support 100 athletes in the Greater Fort Worth Area.

AUSTIN –  Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) has received a $15,000 grant from Bell Helicopter that will sponsor 100 SOTX athletes in the Greater Fort Worth Area. The grant will help fund local trainings, competitions and programming during the 2017 fiscal year. Bell Helicopter has also committed to provide volunteers for the upcoming SOTX Greater Fort Worth Area Spring Games on April 21 at Maverick Stadium, on the campus of The University of Texas at Arlington.
