Dallas Area Athlete Wins AQHA Award

The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) just named Greater Dallas area athlete, Stacey Johnson, its 2011 winner of the award for High Point Hunt Seat Equitation Walk/Trot/Canter.  This is the first time Stacey's ever won the honor.  She will travel to Las Vegas on March 10 to receive her award.  To qualify for the prize, equestrian competitors have to compete in AQHA shows all year long and the association totals up the athletes' points at the end of the year.  Not only is Stacey being recognized for her achievement in High Point Seat Equitation, so is her horse - "Heaven Sent a Star" Haley.  Congratulations, Stacey (and Haley)!
