Special Olympics Texas to Announce Findings of Comprehensive Research Study at Texas State Capitol on Tuesday

Together, Special Olympics Texas and researchers at UMass Boston, have completed the nation’s largest study of its kind on Special Olympics Texas athletes and their families.

WHAT:

SOTX President & CEO Margaret Larsen will release the findings of a comprehensive study conducted on Special Olympics Texas athletes and their families. With more than 300 athletes and 2,000 family members surveyed, this study is the largest of its kind to date in the United States. The study, conducted by the Center for Social Development and Education at the University of Massachusetts Boston, revealed some impressive findings, which will help Special Olympics Texas enhance its program for its athletes and families moving forward.
