AUSTIN – Special Olympics Texas has officially announced the winners of its 2015 Athletes, Coach, Volunteers and Outstanding Service of the Year awards. The 15 recipients were selected from 113 nominations sent in. A complete list of selections for the 2015 Special Olympics Texas Awards can be found below.
An awards ceremony will be held on Friday, Oct. 9 in Bryan/College Station during the Fall Classic VIP Reception to recognize the volunteers, athletes, families and businesses that make the Special Olympics experience possible for more than 53,400 athletes in the state of Texas.
