Take the plunge in Laredo!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Look out! Special Olympics Texas’ annual Polar Plunge is coming to Laredo. This frosty event allows participants to jump into icy cold waters to help raise funds for SOTX athletes. Our annual Polar Plunge will take place on March 7 at the Inner City Pool (City of Laredo Parks & Leisure). Come join us for some frosty fun.

Registration for the event begins at 9:30 a.m. with the first plunge beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the inner pool. The cost to take part in this chilly event is $60 for adults and $30 for children under the age of 18. Following the plunge, there will be an awards ceremony “most money raised” by an individual and Best Costume.  Proceeds support over 1,300 athletes in the Laredo area.
