FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Get ready to have a Ragin’ Cajun good time for a great cause. With blinged out beads, spicy sausages and crawfish, and Mardi-Gras music, this festive fundraiser is sure to have something for everyone! The 16th annual Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) Ragin’ Cajun is a benefit that supports Permian Basin/Big Bend area athletes.
Ragin' Cajun has all the spirit and excitement of the New Orleans Mardi Gras: live music by CPR and the Freeride Band, live and silent auctions, and a traditional Cajun-prepared bayou fare, including crawfish, shrimp and crab legs. The Big Easy-themed event is set for May 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Commemorative Air Force Museum Hangar in Midland.
Tickets may be purchased at the area office, located at 401 West Texas Avenue, Suite 507 in Midland. They are $40 in advance and $45 at the door. To "bayou" tickets or for sponsorship and volunteer information, contact Kaci Nunez (knunez@sotx.org) at 432.684.5024.
