The Panhandle will become a powerhouse of athletes as the 2013 Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) Spring Games gets underway!  SOTX will host the event beginning at 9:00 a.m. on May 4 at Boy’s Ranch, located on Highway 385 just northwest of Amarillo. 

The highly-anticipated competition will kick off with an inspiring Opening Ceremonies starring SOTX competitors.  Immediately following, athletes will take to the field for athletics (track and field) and bocce events.  The Games will wrap up at 5:00 p.m.
