FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Denise Bryant is one of Area 6's many key volunteers. What makes Denise so special is that even after having surgery on both her feet, she continues to get up and give her time to Special Olympics Texas and the athletes. In July, even with both her feet in walking casts, Denise still volunteered her time to Area 6’s two-day Tip-A-Cop at the Texas Roadhouse. She was walking around and working just as hard as the officers. You could not make her sit down. With the hard work of both the Law Enforcement Torch Runners and Denise, we were able to raise moer than $10,000 at this year’s annual Tip-A-Cop. You can’t keep a good volunteer down!
