An Extravagant Evening with SOTX

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – Greater El Paso area invites you to its 8th Annual Extravaganza Gala from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on October 18 at the Wyndham El Paso Airport Hotel, located at 2027 Airway Blvd in El Paso.

This year’s keynote speakers are Patrick Henry Hughes and his father, Patrick John Hughes.  Patrick Henry is a remarkable pianist, vocalist and trumpet player who was born without eyes and with an extremely rare genetic disorder: arms that could not straighten and legs that would never be able to walk.  He overcame his physical limitations and has recorded two CDs.  His first book, I Am Potential: Eight Lessons on Living, Loving, and Reaching Your Dreams, is available around the world in several different languages.  Hughes even performs with the University of Louisville Marching Band with help from his father, Patrick John.

Join us for dinner, dancing, live entertainment and more!  Tickets are $60 per person or $500 for a table for ten.  For more information or sponsorship details, contact Marsha Baray (mbaray@sotx.org) at 915.533.8229 or go to www.specialolympicstexas.org
