Volunteer Spotlight - Denise and Woody Boyd

Denise and Woody Boyd have been involved in Special Olympics Texas for over 20 years, and do an amazing job rewarding our athletes with the medals/ribbons they all gladly show off around their necks.

If you ever get a chance to attend a North Texas competitions you can’t help but see how Woody and Denise interact with our athletes.  Woody is always cutting up and his witty humor is contagious.  Denise is always encouraging every athlete she comes in contact with. She also really takes great pride and joy in sorting and awarding the athletes.

Both Denise and Woody deserve many thanks for always making our games a huge success. That’s why we are our first spotlight volunteers for North Texas.
