FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Blake Fitzgerald began competing with Special Olympics Texas five years ago. A member of the howling Katy Wolf Pack, he participates in basketball and golf events. When he’s not working on his fantastic free throws or perfecting his putt, Fitzgerald enjoys computers, football, P90X workouts and listening to music.
In addition to being a spectacular athlete, Fitzgerald’s other interests include learning about financial planning. In fact, his long term goals are to someday live independently, become a professional golfer, and attend college. He’s well on his way! In 2011, he completed the prestigious Lennar Life and Work Skills Class, a Greater Houston area program that provides training in computer skills, phone etiquette, office machine use, budgeting, interviewing skills, safety and first aid skills and more.
