South Texas is Ready for Some (Flag) Football!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

South Texas athletes got some serious hands-on training at the first flag football exercise in their area.  They went over every individual skills drill before forming an actual team and playing a real game of flag football!  The athletes, and spectators, had a great time at the training and are more fired up than ever about kicking off the new competition in South Texas.  Thank you to everyone who participated or just came out to show support and encouragement.

A big “thank you” also goes out to first-time flag football trainers, Mary and Belincia, and Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi for partnering with us to host the training.  Also, congratulations to the eight volunteers who recently completed flag football coaches training.  They can’t wait to put those new skills to use!
