More than 1,200 athletes competing in athletics (track and field) and soccer will participate in a range of events at the Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) - Greater Fort Worth Area Spring Games.  The two-day event will kick off at 12:30 p.m. on April 20 at The University of Texas at Arlington with afternoon competitions, followed by a spectacular Opening Ceremonies program at 7:00 p.m. and an athlete dance. 

All track and field competitions will be held at UTA’s Maverick Stadium, located at 1309 W. Mitchell Drive, with soccer being held just across the street at the St. Maria Goretti School soccer field immediately east of the UTA Intramural Fields.  The Games will continue on April 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
