The Big Easy is Comin' to the Permian Basin

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Get ready to have a Ragin’ Cajun good time for a good cause.  With blinged out beads, spicy sausages and crawfish, and Mardi-Gras music, this festive fundraiser is sure to have something for everyone!  The annual Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) Ragin’ Cajun is a benefit that supports Permian Basin/Big Bend area athletes.

Ragin' Cajun has all the spirit and excitement of the New Orleans Mardi Gras: live music by CPR and Le Freak, live and silent auctions, and a traditional Cajun-prepared bayou fare, including crawfish, shrimp and crab legs.  The Big Easy-themed event is set for April 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Commemorative Air Force Museum Hangar, located at 9600 Wright Drive in Midland.

Tickets may be purchased at the area office, located at 401 West Texas Avenue, Suite 507 in Midland.  They are $40 in advance and $45 at the door; children get in for $17.  To "bayou" tickets or for sponsorship and volunteer information, contact Freddie Taylor at ftaylor@sotx.org
