Swing into spring with Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – Gulf Coast area at the annual Mulligans & Mudbugs Charity Golf Classic, April 12, in Houston. Proceeds from the tournament support year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Mulligans & Mudbugs, presented by SGS North America, Inc., will begin with lunch at 10:00 a.m. and a shotgun start at 11:30 p.m. at Kingwood Country Club, located at 1700 Lake Kingwood Trail. SOTX – Gulf Coast area athletes will take to the course to putt for each team.
The entry fee is $175 for a single player and $600 for a four person team; the cost includes a delicious down-home crawfish boil dinner. Golfers will be recognized at an awards ceremony immediately after the Classic.
