NFL heroes Mike Munchak and Bruce Matthews, along with ABC 13 Sports Director, Bob Allen, challenge you to get your golf game in gear fore a great cause. The legendary football powerhouses will join Allen as Chairs of the 7th annual Coca-Cola Celebrity Golf Classic, a Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – Greater Houston area fundraiser. Munchak is the head coach of the Tennessee Titans football team. Matthews is the team’s offensive line coach.
Munchak, Matthews and Allen will par up with area golfers and sports/media personalities in a 5-man scramble format for the classic on March 5. The tournament will start at 10:00 a.m. at the Kingwood Country Club, located at 1700 Lake Kingwood Trail. Each player’s registration fee includes an invite to the Celebrity Pairings Dinner and Auction from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Hilton Houston Westchase on March 4.
