More than 600 Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) athletes will put their hoop skills to the test at the Central Texas area basketball tournament, February 24-25, in San Marcos.  The competition will be held at the Jowers Center on the Texas State University campus, located at 601 University Drive.

The basketball tournament will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday and end at 8:00 p.m.  Saturday’s competition will start at 8:00 a.m. and end around 7:00 p.m.  Opening Ceremonies will kick off at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday and wrap at 12:00 p.m.  SOTX athletes will compete in individual skills, team skills, 3 on 3 events, 5 on 5 games and Unified competitions.
