This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Regional operations alongside the
Regional Executive Director.


● Assist with hiring and supervising all regional staff;
● Oversee area and regional competitions with area staff and volunteers;
● Develop and maintain community relationships within the region;
● Assist in the recruitment and retention of Regional Resource Boards;
● Plan and adhere to regional budget;
● Assist and support all regional specialists;
● Identify and support fundraising opportunities fostering long-term resource generation
including but limited to: major gifts, event fundraising, in-kind donations, team fundraising
and state/national campaigns;
● Assist in establishment of regional distribution center;
● Assist with Unified Champion Schools® goals and reporting for the Region;
● Communication of organizational goals to regional teams which must include, but are not
limited to, best practices, innovation, retention and recruitment.

Screening: Must pass Criminal and National Sex Offender Registry background
screening (Required for all staff)

Education: College degree or equitable experience non-profit or business
management; sports programming, disability advocacy a plus.

Experience: Non-profit experience, management; budgeting, sports programming;
previous experience with Unified Sports®, Special Olympics a plus.
Knowledge: Microsoft Office; G Suite; Database programs, Event Planning; Adaptive
Sports; Fundraising

Skills: Strong organizational skill with the ability to manage multiple projects;
effective time management, verbal and written skills, public speaking and
customer service, managing staff and volunteers.

Work Schedule: Full time 40+ hours; This position’s work schedule will be determined by
the demands of the position and will require some evenings and
weekends. Flexible time is available with prior approval of the supervisor.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required
to sit or stand for extended periods of time; occasionally required to lift
and/or move up to 20lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; frequently required
to stand, reach with hands and arms through full range of motion.
Transportation: Must have their own reliable transportation with good driving history, valid

Texas driver’s license and current insurance.
