Kindness, what a simple yet rare gift. Bruce and I have been dating since 2012, but it wasn’t until he met and interacted with my brother, who happens to have Down Syndrome, that I knew I wanted him to be my partner for life. The kindness and respect he has always displayed towards him are a reflection of the great qualities I have come to love and admire. We will be uniting our lives in front of our family and friends on August 19, 2017.

Special Olympics Texas has been a source of joy and inspiration for my brother Juan since I can remember. The beaming smile and ribbon, after eager anticipation for competition, are priceless treasured memories. His courage, ability for joy and competition have been continuously developed by SOTX, which is why we would like to pay forward the monetary kindness of our wedding guests to the Special Olympics Texas.
