Special Olympics Texas Rio Grande Valley Area (Area 1) in collaboration with McAllen Memorial will be hosting the Area Powerlifting Competition

The Special Olympics Texas Rio Grande Valley Area Powerlifting will be anyone who has the dedication to have trained hard to showcase your strength against others in the Rio Grande Valley Area!! Come together to have a friendly competition for the Gold! This competition is eligible for individuals 15 years of age and older. The Special Olympics Texas Staff welcome anyone who would like to take part in this event to reach out, participate as a spectator, volunteer, family, or sponsor.

You may also register online through the Give Pulse platform for the Rio Grande Valley Area, or use the on the right side panel of this page.

Athlete Safety: All athletes must have a current Athlete Release Form available in (Spanish) on file with the Area SOTX office before they may participate in any practices. If your athletes are missing ANY of these documents they will be ineligible to participate in the event.
