Area 18 2023 Bowling Competition

Special Olympics Texas - Area 18 will host their 2023 Bowling Competition on Saturday, November 04, 2023 at Diamond Lanes, 2208 E 8th St., Odessa, TX 79761.

This event will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 8:00am, followed by competition starting at 9:00am!  Multiple Shifts will be determined by the number of athletes who are entered into the competition.  Shifts will be determined by age, gender and ability.  More information will be available closer to the competition

We encourage the community to come out and cheer on our athletes as they compete in this year's competition. Special Olympics Texas events are open to the public and we encourage the attendance of families, volunteers, community partners, and spectators!


Athlete Safety: All athletes much have a current Athlete Medical and Covid Waiver (included in the medical form) on file with the area SOTX office before they can participate in any practices. If your athletes are missing either of these documents they will not be able to participate in the event.


Volunteers: If you are interested in volunteering for this event or other Special Olympic Texas events, you may email J'Nette Thorne jthorne@sotx.org to request volunteer information. Volunteers that have signed up for any events must present a picture identification card upon registration in order to volunteer for the day.
