Special Olympics Texas Rio Grande Valley Area will be hosting 2023 Summer Series Competition, Friday, August 25, 2023 at McAllen Miracle Field 

The Summer Series is a competition in two sports, Softball and Flag Football, to provide the opportunity for skills in both sports or the Team Competition. There is an option to compete in Unified, Traditional Divisions. 

Athlete Safety: All athletes must have a current Athlete Medical available in (Spanish) and Covid Waiver on file with the Area SOTX office before they can participate in any practices. If your athletes are missing either of these documents they will not be eligible to participate in the event. 

Volunteers: If you are interested in volunteering for this event or other Special Olympics Texas Rio Grande Valley Area events, you may email Mrs. Ytszel Trinidad-Ruiz at ytrinidad@sotx.org to request volunteer information. You may also register online through the Give Pulse platform for the Rio Grande Valley Area.
