General Information: 

Special Olympics Texas - Area 13 will host the 2024 Track and Field Competition on April 13, 2024 at Bible Stadium in Leander, Texas. 

 
This event will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 8:45AM on Saturday April 13, 2024, followed by competition starting around  9:30am!  Exact schedule of Events will be available closer to the competition. 

We encourage the community to come out and cheer on our athletes as they compete in this year's competition. Special Olympics Texas events are open to the public and we encourage the attendance of families, volunteers, community partners, and spectators! 
 
 

Athlete Safety:  

All Athletes must have a current Athlete Medical & Communicable Disease Waiver  on file with the Area SOTX office, before they can participate in any practices.
If your Athletes are missing either of these documents they will not be able to participate in the event. 

To be eligible for this competition, all Athletes must be part of a current Special Olympics Delegation/Team and have practiced with their team for a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the competition date. Special Olympics Athletes are registered for this competition via their Team Coaches and/or their Head of Delegation.  
 

Volunteers:  

If you are interested in volunteering for this event please check back in December 2023, to sign up using a volunteer link that will be provided!

 Volunteers that have signed up for any events must present a picture identification card upon registration in order to volunteer for the day.

Medicals & Comm. Diseases Waivers Due:  February 2, 2024
(All required SOTX Documents are due prior to Athletes, Coaches, HODs starting practice for any sport.)

 

Registration Entry Deadline: March 20, 2024 
 

Permanent Scratches will be Completed for Competition:    April  2, 2024* 
 Once permanent scratches take place, individuals scratched will NOT be added back to the competition. No exceptions.
