General Information: 

Special Olympics Texas - Area 13 will host the 2024 Bowling Competition on November 6-10, 2024 in North Austin.

School Aged Athletes (Ages 7-21) will bowl at SpareTime Bowling in Pflugerville, Texas

Adult Athletes (Ages 22+) will bowl at Mel's Lone Star Lanes in Georgetown, Texas

This event will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 9:45AM each day, followed by competition starting at 10:00am:

November 6-8, 2024

• First Shift of Each Day (Females): Begins at 10:00AM ends at 12:30PM.
• Second Shift Each Day (Males & Unified Doubles): Begins at 1:00PM ends at 3:30PM.

• One Shift Each day all Adults: Begins at 10:00am and ends at 12:30pm

Awards will be presented on the lanes, after the Athletes in each lane are finished.

Exact schedule of Events will be available closer to the competition. 

We encourage the community to come out and cheer on our athletes as they compete in this year's competition. Special Olympics Texas events are open to the public and we encourage the attendance of families, volunteers, community partners, and spectators! 
 
 

Athlete Safety:  

All Athletes must have a current Athlete Medical & Communicable Disease Waiver on file with the Area SOTX office, before they can participate in any practices OR be registered for the competition. If your Athletes are missing any of the documents in the Athlete Medical Packet, they will not be able to participate in the competition and will be scratched from the competition.

To be eligible for this competition, all Athletes must be part of a current Special Olympics Delegation/Team and have practiced with their team for a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the competition date. Special Olympics Athletes are registered for this competition via their Team Coaches and/or their Head of Delegation.

Volunteers that have signed up for any events must present a picture identification card upon registration in order to volunteer for the day.
