General Information: 

Special Olympics Texas – Austin Area will host the 2024 Bocce Competition on Saturday August 24, 2024 at McNeil High School in Austin, Texas 

 
This event will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 9:00AM, followed by competition starting around 9:30am!  Exact schedule of Events will be available closer to the competition. 

We encourage the community to come out and cheer on our athletes as they compete in this year's competition. Special Olympics Texas events are open to the public and we encourage the attendance of families, volunteers, community partners, and spectators! 
 
 

Athlete Safety:  

All Athletes must have a current & complete Athlete Medical & Communicable Disease Waiver  on file with the Area SOTX office, before they can participate in any practices. 

To be eligible for this competition, all Athletes must be part of a current Special Olympics Delegation/Team and have practiced with their team for a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the competition date. Special Olympics Athletes are registered for this competition via their Team Coaches and/or their Head of Delegation.

 Volunteers that have signed up for any events must present a picture identification card upon registration in order to volunteer for the day.

Registration Entry Deadline: July 26, 2024 

Permanent Scratches will be Completed for Competition: August 13, 2024*
Once permanent scratches take place, individuals scratched will NOT be added back to the competition. No exceptions.
