The 2022 Area 4 Swimming Competition will be held on September 24th at Cy-Spring High School (7909 Fry Rd, Cypress, TX 77433).
  
ORDER OF EVENTS

Team/Athlete Entries Deadline: August 24th, 2021 by 5PM. All entries due to akeith@sotx.org​.  
 
Any athlete who does not have an active medical prior to competition entry deadline, will be scratched from the competition.  No exemptions will be made. This will include any athlete whose medical expires prior to Area, Regional or Chapter (State) competition.
 
We strongly encourage you to use the online athlete and delegation entry forms by clicking here.
 
Please note: You MUST download the forms to your computer to complete, and email, fax, or mail them to the area office.
 

Covid-19: Special Olympics Texas will closely monitor the situation in regards to holding this event. Special Olympics International consults with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and reviews the latest guidance from the World Health Organization.  Your health and safety are top priority, as well as the health and safety of the Special Olympics Texas community.  Please refer to this page of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention website for all tips. For any in-person event, including this statewide game, athletes and volunteers must complete our return-to-play training.

Information on how to register to volunteer:

  • Here is where you can find all the information you will need to volunteer: map, shift times, what to expect, etc.
  • Once you register as a volunteer, you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your SPAM folder. 
  • Should we experience inclement weather or make any changes to the event, we will email or send a text message to update all volunteers immediately.
  • Volunteer opportunities are limited.

If you need to cancel the volunteer position, login to your Givepulse account, click on the green “Update Registration” button on your dashboard, and unselect each position or click “Cancel All”.
