Special Olympics Texas Rio Grande Valley Area will be hosting 2023 Bocce Competition on Saturday, October 14, 2023  

Stay tuned for the venue for the Bocce Competition, but please take care of the preliminary items, certification, updates, etc. Registration Forms for the 2023 Bocce Competition are due Friday, September 8, 2023  by 6 PM.

 Families: We invite you to come out and enjoy the event as a spectator and root for your best Special Olympics Texas Athletes, free of charge to enjoy. 

Athlete Safety: All athletes must have a current Athlete Release Form available in Spanish and the Communicable Disease Waiver on file with the SOTX Area Office before they can participate in any practice. If your athletes are missing either of these documents they will not be eligible to participate in the event. 

Volunteers: If you are interested in volunteering for this event or other Special Olympics Texas Rio Grande Valley Area events, you may email cowboysma_lou@yahoo.com, Mrs. Mary Lou Trinidad to request volunteer information. You may also register online through the Give Pulse platform for the Rio Grande Valley Area. Volunteers that have registered for any events must present a picture identification card upon registration in order to volunteer for the day.
