General Information: 

Special Olympics Texas – Austin Area will host the 2023 Bocce Competition on Saturday September 23, 2023 at McNeil High School in Austin, Texas 

 
This event will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 9:00AM, followed by competition starting around 9:30am!  Exact schedule of Events will be available closer to the competition. 

We encourage the community to come out and cheer on our athletes as they compete in this year's competition. Special Olympics Texas events are open to the public and we encourage the attendance of families, volunteers, community partners, and spectators! 
 
 

Athlete Safety:  

All Athletes must have a current & complete Athlete Medical & Communicable Disease Waiver  on file with the Area SOTX office, before they can participate in any practices. 

Two weeks before any competition, any Athlete that is missing any of the documents in the SOTX Athlete Medical Packet, will be dropped from the Team Registration for the competition and will not be added back to the competition. If HODs or Coaches have any questions regarding this, please reach out to your SOTX Area Program Director.

 Volunteers that have signed up for any events must present a picture identification card upon registration in order to volunteer for the day.
