Area 13 - Golf 2023

General Information: 

Special Olympics Texas - Area 13 will host their 2023 Golf Competition on August 23, 2023 at Shadow Glen Golf Course in Manor, Texas.

 
This event will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 9:40AM, followed by competition starting around 10:00am! 

• Individual Skills Competition will begin at 10:45AM
• Shot Gun Start for Levels 2-5 at 10:15AM

Exact schedule of Events will be available closer to the competition. 
 

We encourage the community to come out and cheer on our athletes as they compete in this year's competition. Special Olympics Texas events are open to the public and we encourage the attendance of families, volunteers, community partners, and spectators! 
 
 
Athlete Safety:  

All Athletes must be part of a current Special Olympics Delegation/Team in order to participate in this competition. Special Olympics Athletes are registered for this competition via their Team Coaches and/or their Head of Delegation.

All Athletes must have a current Athlete Medical & Communicable Disease Waiver on file with the Area SOTX office, before they can participate in any practices. If your Athletes are missing either of these documents they will not be able to participate in the event.

 Volunteers that have signed up for any events must present a picture identification card upon registration in order to volunteer for the day.

• Registration Entry Deadline: July 23, 2023 
• Last Date for ADDS: August 1, 2023* 
  • ​NO "ADDS" WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE, NO EXCEPTIONS.
