Area 14 - 2023 Swimming Competition

Special Olympics Texas - Area 14 will host their 2023 Swimming Competition on Saturday, July 15th at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX.

This event will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 1:30 pm, followed by competition starting at 2:00 pm!

We encourage the community to come out and cheer on our athletes as they compete in this year's competition. Special Olympics Texas events are open to the public and we encourage the attendance of families, volunteers, community partners, and spectators!

Athlete Safety: All athletes must have a current Athlete Medical and COVID Waiver on file with the area SOTX office before they can participate in any practices. If your athletes are missing either of these documents they will not be able to participate in the event.

Volunteers: If you are interested in volunteering for this event or other Special Olympic Texas events, you may email J'Nette Thorne at jthorne@sotx.org to request volunteer information. Volunteers that have signed up for any events must present a picture identification card upon registration in order to volunteer for the day.
