Medicals: Athlete medicals are to be emailed to medicals@sotx.org with your Area Program Director, Kristen, copied on it. Subject line: Delegation Name, Medical, Athlete Name.
Any athlete who does not have an active medical prior to competition entry deadline, will be scratched from the competition.
No exemptions will be made. This will include any athlete whose medical expires prior to Area, Regional or State competition.
Event Information
Area 04 & 06 Equestrian Competition will be hosted at
Sire Spring. Parking will be available on site.
7:00 Trailers can arrive & Coggins Check is open
7:00-8:00 Trail course open to hand-walk horses
7:45 Athlete can begin to arrive
8:00 – 8:30 Athlete’s can walk the trail course
8:30 Coaches Meeting
8:45 Opening Ceremonies
9:15 Show begins
Showmanship, barrels, poles & Equitation in arena A (awards will be presented at the end of each class)
B & A Level trail classes in arena A (will start after lunch)
C level trail in arena B (At-will, awards after all riders have completed their class in award area outside of arena).
1:00* Lunch immediately following barrels/poles classes
2:00* Timed events (in covered arena, awards in award area outside of arena)
*Estimated times only- lunch will be available after 12:00pm for anyone who needs to eat before equitation classes are complete
