SGT. Carla Burr: Area 16 LETR Spotlight

SGT. Carla Burr

Sgt. Carla Burr is stationed in Amarillo Police Department. She loves being part of LETR, and being able to cheer on for all Special Olympics athletes. Sgt. Carla Burr first participated in LETR when she was a rookie police office. About 5 years ago she was able to come back and join LETR in Amarillo. Sgt. Burr played an integral part in revamping LETR in Amarillo PD.

Aside from doing her LETR duties such as community outreach, building relationships and helping with fundraisers, Sgt. Burr is at every SOTX Competition. Special Olympics has made Sgt. Carla Burr's life much more enriched with all the happy and joyous faces she sees at Special Olympics whether is when handing them their award, or helping them get to their place. Special Olympics has brought a lot of happiness to Sgt. Burr.
