Meet Samuel!

Samuel “Sammy Sanchez” has been in PSJA Pathways Toward independence since 2018. Sammy comes to PSJA ISD from McAllen ISD.

Since the initial day of having Sammy be part of our PTI family, he has brought light, joy and energy to our students and staff. His dream since arriving at PTI has been acting and singing.  Sammy also loves fashion.  He can spot a super outfit a mile away. He has also demonstrated his love of the spotlight by being one of our designated school ambassadors.

He has been enrolled in many of our STC courses such as Floral Design, Culinary Arts, Commercial Photography, Fashion Design, Landscape Design and Employability Skills. Sammy has mastered most goals and objectives that we have set out for him to achieve.

Sammy has been recently hired by VP Realty and at All-Star Theatre.  Thank you to Carina Veale, Joel Garza and business owners such as these that give our students equal access to grow, develop and be contributing members of their families and society.  Especially for making their dreams come true.
Sammy is set to graduate in June with employment. We will definitely miss him and all the memories we have shared.

Thank you to Sammy, his family, and PSJA for sending in this bio! We love learning more about our athletes and our communities!
