Joshua DeLuna
Joshua DeLuna is a Special Olympics athlete from Abilene, Texas. Joshua has been participating with Special Olympics since 2011. Joshua plays basketball, bowling, bocce, swimming, flag football, soccer, track, and powerlifting. He loves getting his best running shoes on and winning in Track competitions. Joshua DeLuna represents his team the Abilene Mustangs at local, area, and state competitions!
Joshua's proudest and biggest accomplishment was getting the Most Improved Athlete for his team in 2017, and getting Athlete of the Year in high school. Joshua graduate from Cooper High School in 2015. Special Olympics has taught Joshua to always try his hardest at everything he does, and to try hard for his coaches.Josh loves to be called Assistant Coach by his coaches because he is always trying to help his teammates be their best. Joshua currently works for Disability Resources Incorporated.
