On May 24th at the Texas Rangers Game, LETR officers and SOTX athletes were joined by shortstop Elvis Andrus for a ceremonial Torch Run inside the stadium. Elvis also donated $5,000 dollars that night to the Law Enforcement Torch Run/ Summer Games. He has supported Special Olympics Texas with donations totaling approximately $40,000 dollars since 2012. Over the years he has also donated tickets, hosted a holiday party for our athletes, serves as host for our ceremonial run at the stadium each year, and hosted the athletes for a pre-game Pizza party.
