United Supermarkets Charity Golf Benefactor

Recently, Area 16 Special Olympics was chosen to be the benefactor for the 25th annual United Supermarkets Charity Golf Classic. United Supermarket, Amarillo National Bank and KGNC all worked tirelessly to make this year the biggest yet. The tournament was on June 4th and this one raised more money than any of the previous 24 tournaments. It is a 6-man scramble with hole-in-one prizes and items were raffled off once the tournament was over. We had athletes and coaches working day in and day out to sell almost 5,000 raffle tickets.
