Who will bring the gold home from Austin? We can’t wait to see! Almost 2,600 athletes and Unified Partners will compete in bowling, volleyball and powerlifting. Here’s where to find all the info you need before you hit the road, including the Winter Games Information Guide, the Winter Games schedule, and hotel information.

Among the special events during this year’s Winter Games:

  • Wellness Village will be available Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Health professionals in SEVEN different disciplines (FUN Fitness, Fit Feet, Strong Minds, Healthy Hearing, Special Smiles, MedFest and Health Promotions) will be available to perform FREE health screenings for Special Olympics Texas athletes, whether they are competing at Winter Games or not.
  • Athlete Village will offer lots of fun activities and opportunities to socialize. Be sure to stop by from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Mark your calendar for the Athlete Celebration and Dance on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Round Rock Sports Center, starting at 7 p.m. (Teams can start lining up for the Parade of Athletes starting at 6:15 p.m.) Our special guest staris J.R. Martinez, the winner of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars! PLUS, we’ve got special entertainment scheduled, so get your boogie shoes on!
