Although Eunice Kennedy Shriver Day has traditionally been held in September, we will begin celebrating it on July 20 each year, to help mark the anniversary of the first-ever Special Olympics Games in 1968. To Eunice Kennedy Shriver it was not enough to believe strongly in the values of justice and equality, but that one must act and work toward bringing change to life. Please help us spread the word about Mrs. Shriver and the remarkable movement she unleashed.
