Congratulations to our newest Global Messengers! They are: Chris Custer, Alex Sessions, Omar Reid and Ian Rawn from the Greater Dallas area; Peggy Jean "PJ" Ford from the Panhandle area; and Gary Harrelson from the Greater El Paso area. These six spectacular athletes graduated from the Sargent Shriver Global Messenger Program on September 15 in Richardson. We are so proud of them!

Shine the Light: Officer Doug Sisk, Duncanville PD

Office SIsk is heavily involved with LETR and the Special Olympics. “I have more LETR shirts than I know how to count. It’s kind of a tradition to wear the one with the big Texas flag when I go out to conferences. It’s a conversation starter. When I retire I’m going to learn how to sow and make a blanket out of them,” Sisk claimed.
