Heart of East Texas Area athlete, Nicole Goodson, stays busy year-round with bocce, bowling, basketball and athletics events. The Oak Ridge High School senior began competing with SOTX when she was 14 years old and credits the organization with teaching her the importance of self respect and respecting others. Goodson has also gotten to see first hand how exciting traveling to and from her various competitions can be. In her "spare" time, she enjoys painting, drawing and babysitting. She also finds time to volunteer with Best Buddies and work at CiCi's Pizza.
