A SOTX competitor since 2010, Kenneth Gorsich has three gold and two bronze medals in his growing collection.  The Beaumont area athlete has a short story about how he became involved with the organization: he showed up to a SOTX event one day and was instantly hooked! Gorsich is a bowling athlete who has become more social since joining the movement.  He even attends dances thanks to a boost in confidence and improved social skills.  His parents, Gary and Maureen, volunteer at area bowling events and wherever else they are needed.  When he's not having a striking good time competing, Gorsich works at St. Jude Thaddeus, where he's been employed for the past 12 years, and spends his free time weaving baskets.  He also visits nursing homes in his community and makes balloon flowers and animals for the patients. Gorsich is a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoys volunteering at church functions.
