The Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg Kickoff was a success!  Fans, families and friends of the movement gathered at the Capitol on May 16 for inspirational words of encouragement from SOTX athletes and supporters.  After a brief program, LETR members lit the symbolic torch then ran alongside athletes from the Capitol steps down Congress avenue to begin the final leg of the Torch Run.  The torch will now pass through all 19 areas of SOTX, arriving in Arlington in time for the statewide Summer Games, May 24-27, at UT Arlington and surrounding venues.  Summer Games competitors will compete in basketball, cycling, gymnastics, soccer, tennis and athletics (track and field) events.
