Events are permitted at Special Olympics Texas.
There are currently no plans to require masks or the vaccine for participation in any Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) programming within the state of Texas. This includes all local competitions, fundraising events and statewide games. We continue to encourage all participants to be fully vaccinated.
Events hosted or sanctioned by parties other than SOTX are subject to the COVID-19 protocols of that party.
You can find CDC recommendations by visiting their website here. For the latest SOTX news and updates, please sign up for our statewide weekly newsletter by clicking here (or directly at sotx.org/newsletter).
