The Executive Committee of the Athlete Leadership Council would like to obtain information from athletes who may be interested in becoming more involved in athlete leadership opportunities.

The second purpose of this survey/questionnaire is to let the athletes tell their story of Special Olympics in a book to be published for SOTX 50th Anniversary celebration titled, Where are Our Athletes?  50 Years of Greatness!  We want to promote all the wonderful accomplishments our athletes have achieved, not only in the sports arena, but also in their personal lives.  This book will be a great way to “meet” the athletes who have been with Special Olympics Texas since its beginning.  Imagine all the stories that can be told by those athletes and how Special Olympics has been a positive influence on their lives.   

We request all the athletes who are interested in being part of this wonderful memory book to complete the survey/questionnaire by June 30, 2019.  If the athlete would like, he or she could upload a picture of themselves (jpg format in high resolution).  We hope to have the book published early in 2019 for the 50^th Year Anniversary celebration of Special Olympics Texas.
