EL PASO – Special Olympics Texas’ (SOTX) has received a $3,000 grant from Wells Fargo to help fund training, competitions and programming for athletes in the Greater El Paso Area.
Wells Fargo makes contributions in areas it deems important to the future of our nation's vitality and success. The company’s first priority is to support programs and organizations whose chief purpose is to benefit low-and moderate-income individuals and families. Wells Fargo looks for projects that keep its communities strong, diverse, and vibrant.
SOTX offers sports competition and training in 22 Olympic-style sports for 2,307 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the Greater El Paso Area. The nonprofit organization also offers other types of programming such as its Young Athletes Program, Motor Activities Training Program and Healthy Athletes.
